    F20 Turbo

    Post  on 5/27/2012, 11:03 pm

Taking the 20T off my Red 2011 and replacing it with a F20 Turbo badge. My questions are
1: Is 20T held on by fasteners or is it just ds tape?

2: Is the F20 Turbo badge one piece or 8 separate items?

3: Thinking of putting a GDI badge over the F20 Turbo badge. Any comments or opinions?

4: Best place to buy them with quickest delivery.

Thanks for any and all replies...

    1. 2.0T is held on by 3M tape
    2. It's 8 separate items; however it comes in "one piece" held by this styrofoam around the letters, so you could just put them right on. The letters are pre-aligned, so you don't have to worry about lining them up.
    3. Hyundai puts GDI badges on Sonatas that have non-turbo charged GDI engines.
    4. Just buy it from one of the U.S. sellers from e-bay if there's any. It will be delivered in a couple days.

Thanks for the info. Will be ordering one ASAP. Sholud look nice with the red outlined in chrome on the red Sonata. Will dump the GDI badge idea. Thanks again.

Just make sure you line it up good the first time. Put some scotch tape on the letters before you remove the backing tape and place the letters on the car where you want it. Step back, look it over, and if its good dot the corners on the cars paint with a dry erase marker. Now peal the backing and line it up inside the marks you made.
Make sure the area is cleaned with isopropyl alcohol prior to application.

Remove the Hyundaia letters on the left and everyone will ask you what model that is all the time.

I have had so many people ask me that and how much it is. One even asked where he could buy one, as he took a picture of it. (note I now have a license plate on it)

Confuses a lot of people as I now have a wing'd T logo (front and back) and not the H

Heat it up with a blow drier and use dental floss to get behind the glue tape. Rub residue off with goo gone or alcohol.

Any locations in USA for the badge? All E Bay overseas dealers say June 14 or later delivery date.
